Fundraising
Taverners fundraise via a range of enjoyable events and activities we can share with our friends, colleagues and families.
We hold 3 to 4 events a year, most featuring sporting celebrity guest speakers, highlighted by our annual MCG Boxing Day Breakfast.
Other funding comes from Donations, Raffles, Partnerships, Grants, Wine & Merchandise Sales.
Support our activities or join our Committee and gain the satisfaction of helping us Give a Sporting Chance.
Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and get involved in programs we support. If you have some time to spare and a passion to help others gain access to inclusive sporting opportunities, we will be very happy to have you onboard.
To help out directly on our Committee contact us at: secretary@vic.taverners.org.au with your name, contact details and how you would like to help. Whether it's Event planning, seeking Business Partnerships or Grant applications, we welcome your enquiry. Committee meetings are generally held once every month or two across the year.
Help our program partners on or off the field. Volunteer with training sessions, on game days or help out at social events. Get to meet and work with like-minded, caring people and give back to your community. Volunteering is rewarding and looks great on your CV.
