The charismatic and explosive five-time day and five-time night premiership champion from Hawthorn is an accomplished media performer who will delight with his football and cricket anecdotes from yesteryear.
Away from Fox Footy and his SEN duties, Dermie captains the Heatherhill third XI on the Mornington Peninsula and has a farm near Griffith in the NSW Riverina.Few are as passionate, talented or as loyal. His bravery to continue in the 1989 Grand Final after being felled at the opening bounce is part of footy folklore.
