The 53rd Australian Cricket Society Annual Dinner - Friday 9th July, 2021.

Victorian Men’s Head Cricket Coach Chris Rogers was guest of honour at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club.
With the late withdrawal of James Pattinson, Chris answered the call to address the crowd at this years Annual ACS Dinner.

There was an excellent Toast to Cricket and the Young Cricketers of the Year presentations to two outstanding Victorian players in Ella Hayward (Melbourne CC & Melbourne Renegades) and Mitch Perry (Richmond CC & Victoria).

ACS President, Ken Piesse was in eloquent form interviewing Buck Rogers on his Test career and Victoria’s depth of young talent, in particular the Test prospects of Will Pucovski. Chris also spoke glowing of the future prospects of Ella Hayward and Mitch Perry, who claimed Steve Smith’s wicket in domestic cricket.

Congratulations to Wayne Ross for being inducted as a Life Member for his outstanding service as Secretary and organiser of countless overseas cricket tours for the ACS over more than a decade.
